美国童子军(英文名:The Boy Scouts of America,简称BSA)又称美国童子营
The Boy Scout Association was founded in England in 1908 by Robert Baden-Powell. It was an organization that promoted preparedness, nature survival and life skills for young boys.
Scouting quickly became popular in the United States. Government leaders were happy that there was an organization for young boys to learn about things like citizenship and self-reliance. At the time, there was concern that boys were not learning these things and that basic values were being forgotten.
